My Friend, Rosetta

On 24 July 2002, Rosetta and I climbed Douglas Mountain.  It was such a beautiful view from the top.  We could even see Mt. Washington in New Hampshire!

We had fun picking blueberries, too.  Yum, yum!

Are we there yet?

We made it to the top!

At the top of Douglas Mountain there is a stone tower that was built in 1925 by Mr. Blackman who lived and farmed here.

Mr. Blackman left a message in Latin carved in a rock near the tower he built.  It says, "Not for one but for all."
