On 9 April 2004, I began helping my mom's friend, Rebecca, care for her four Icelandic horses. Every Friday I go to Mulberry Farm and I love it! I feel lucky that we have such a nice friend and lucky that I'm a homeschooler so I can take advantage of such a great opportunity. Experience like this will help me reach my goal of becoming a veterinarian! |

Here I am working on grooming one of Rebecca's Icelandics, Lukka fra Fire & Ice. She was born two years ago and her name "Lukka" means lucky! She is the youngest and my favorite. She even tries to groom me! |

Rebecca has asked me to work at the May 2004 Maine Icelandics Association's horse clinic. I love to volunteer and help out so of course I said, "Yes!" |
