One of Shannon’s biggest goals for the trip was to visit Shakespeare's Globe Theater.   As it turned out, our apartment was right down the street from the theater!  It was fascinating and since the children of England were on holiday for one of the two weeks we were in London, there were some special events going on at the Globe.

Back in Shakespeare's time, girls were not allowed to act—boys and men would dress like girls and women and play the parts.  Look!  There’s one now!
