Snooj and Parker were driving past the local Home Deport on their way to pick me up to take me to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra when they saw a barred owl on the road that looked like it was injured. |

They picked it up and it did seemed stunned. Soon after they arrived at my house the bird was starting to come to and was not aggressive at all. It almost seemed interested in checking us out.
Once it started flapping its wings we figured we would see if it was going to be able to fly away on its own so we took it outside and let it go. It flew up onto the power line so we felt that it was going to be OK. Mom watched it for a while after we left and it stayed there for at least an hour. When mom checked after about 90 minutes, it had left. We all hope it was OK! |
