FREE PULASKI CEMETERY BURIAL LOOKUPS

Thanks to my e-friend, Elwood Taylor, I became aware that the records of the Tri-County Genealogical Society of Augusta, Illinois had been donated to the Western Illinois University.  In April 2007, my daughter, Shannon & I drove to Illinois for a weeks-worth of genealogy fun.

While perusing the collection of records held at WIU, I came across a hand-written (and indexed!) copy of the original Pulaski Cemetery burial records  created by Harry Marshall Crain (1874-1967).  The Pulaski Cemetery is the resting place in Augusta, Illinois for the Pulaski Methodist Church.  I have a photocopy of the material and will do free lookups.  One day, you will find a transcription of the records here on this website but… I am not scheduled to retire until 2033 so it might be a while!
